Bath Bomb & Bath Cupcake Recipes

We have had requests to post some recipes for the Bath Bomb Press. We have tested these and the bath bombs/bath cupcakes have turned out rock hard.

Recipe #1
500g Baking Soda
120g Sea Salts/Epsom Salts
40g Carrier Oil
5ml Fragrance/Essential Oil
powder food color
250g Citric Acid (fine grain)
Witch Hazel (14% alcohol) with a fine mist sprayer

Mix the Citric Acid last and spritz with Witch Hazel afterwards (3 to 4 rounds of 7 to 9 spritzes depending on the size of the sprayer)

Recipe #2
400g Baking Soda
35g Carrier Oil
5ml Fragrance/Essential Oil
powder food color
200g Citric Acid (fine grain)
Witch Hazel (14% alcohol) with a fine mist sprayer

Mix the Citric Acid last and spritz with Witch Hazel afterwards (3 to 4 rounds of 7 to 9 spritzes)

Just received our press, can not wait to get started.  First batch is going to be 2 cups of Arm&Hammer baking soda, 1 cup of citric acid, 4 tsp. of coconut oil, 1 tsp. of fragrance oil, 1 tbsp. of Epsom salt and a partridge in a pear tree.  More to follow...

Still having trouble with my bath bomb recipe . The other molds work fine with this recipe . Does anyone have a certain reciepe they use for the shower steamers ive made a few by hand and ive never like the way they worked!!

Could you let me know what you mean?  Do they not fizz enough or not enough scent for the shower?

Is there  different recipe we should use for the shower steamers or is it just the regular bathbomb recipe?
