Purchasing The Bath Bomb Press for your business is an investment. We know there may be other options out there for you. We would like to help you make an informed decision before purchasing. We have been in business since 2010 and are so proud of the business we grew from one idea of need. It is woman invented, designed and we are the original pneumatic Bath Bomb Press. So, we named it The Bath Bomb Press!
The following things you should consider when making a choice of purchase.
Make sure you have the right company!
We sell our equipment with our etched logo on the top left. We only sell our equipment on our website in Canada. We sell what is advertised in the pictures. We make all of our molds in aluminum metal (you will not receive plastic molds!). We are not partnered, affiliated, or have any resellers/subcontractors selling our equipment. We do not sell our equipment on Etsy or Ebay. Any company or person(s) making this claim would be selling you counterfeit equipment. We have seen them come and go, steal our pictures to post as their own and claim we are affiliated...this is all not true.
We also have an address and phone number to contact us. We do not hide under email address only.
How many years in business?
This would be the most important part of your search and decision. There are so many claims out there that they are the 'best' and 'leader' in the industry. The Bath Bomb Press has been in business for 14 years and we would like to say that we are the leader in the industry. We have proven success over the years and many customers growing and we are growing with them.
We are a woman designed and women operated company too!
Equipment Construction?
This is one of the most important parts of your purchasing decision. The Bath Bomb Press does not have any parts 'welded together' parts or need aligning to press. Back mounted designs will also lose the alignment over time as it will start to bend the frame(s) with continued use/pressing. Welding something together does not make it stronger, it will make it weaker. Also, can corrode with the bath bomb mixture over time. With our equipment construction, the continual pressing will stay in alignment with from the top of the mold to the bottom of the mold. We have many customers with over 1 million bath bombs pressed with one machine and still going strong.
Molds - All of our molds are made of aluminum metal and coated. Your mold will be tougher and this will stand the test of time. If not coated (anodized), the mold will have a very high chance to leak aluminum to your bath bombs. You will notice this when bits/some of your material will be black or grey. Also, if not anodized, the mold will have a very high chance to corrode and also absorb your fragrances. Our molds have lasted customers 5+ years. How do we know this? We have been in business for 13 years already!
Plastic, polymer, resin and clay molds will break down in a short time and also hold the hold fragrances from batch to batch.
We test all new molds before launching. We do not sell you a drawing idea of any molds.
Assembly?
The Bath Bomb Press comes assembled! Each machine is tested prior to shipping. You do not need to worry how to assemble or connect parts and pieces. You will not need extra tape or fittings to make sure your machine operates smoothly. We also DO NOT have any guides to adjust or move when you are setting up your mold(s) to press. This will eliminate wasted time trying to set up and also adjusting guides switching from mold to mold and it will guarantee each press is coming down straight!
Productions Claims?
Can you make 450 bath bombs in an hour? Can you make 750 bath bombs in an hour? Hmmm, let's see . . . if you are making a 6oz (approx. medium round) bath bomb and want to achieve 450 bath bombs in an hour, did you know that you would need 168lbs of mixture and a 76 quart mixer? That would be 12 x 6 quart Kitchenaids going at once and the batch mixture not drying out. Hmmmmm . . .
Warranty Claims?
When you are doing your search, be sure to check out warranty claims. Anyone can claim that they offer a 'lifetime' warranty but can they stand by it? We have seen companies come and go over the years! We offer a one year included warranty with optional up to 5 year warranty on the moving parts of The Bath Bomb Press. We can offer this as we have proven success in business!
All parts on any machine can last up to 5 years and may be longer depending on use. No part of any machine will last you a 'lifetime'.
Payment?
Be sure that you can make payment by Credit Card or PayPal. Credit Card and PayPal fees are all part of doing business when you are in business. If a company is asking you for a cheque or cashier's cheque prior to shipping, we would say they may be taking your money and running with it.
Support?
What support are you going to get after your purchase? We are here for support after your purchase. We check in with every customer after purchase. When switching from a manual method of making bath bombs to an automated method is a change. We have done over 100 different types of test from mixture, humidity, air pressure, brands of ingredients over the years!
We are also here to help your company grow. We also offer business advice and information sharing.
We hope this information helps!
Happy Bath Bombing!
